Steve specializes in structuring joint ventures on behalf of owners, developers, and investment firms for transactions across all real estate asset classes, including office, multifamily, hospitality, condominium, retail, industrial, and mixed-use. He also handles hospitality management and franchise agreements, as well as preferred equity and mezzanine financing.

Previous matters include: the purchase, financing, and repositioning of several New York City office and mixed-use properties; the development of luxury multifamily mixed-use and condominium buildings; ground lease negotiations with private and public ground lessors; hotel and resort development; portfolio acquisitions and dispositions; casino and gaming projects; and recapitalization with private and institutional investors.

Steve also has experience as a developer, including three ground-up multifamily projects in New York City, which affords him practical experience that he brings to every deal.

He graduated from Columbia Law School and practiced at two other New York law firms prior to joining Goldberg Weprin.
